well her goal isn't to lead the family. she only wants to be with her sister. and the only way to do it is by winning.
it's not about deserving or not, it's just about there's no reason to live if she loses
Still what does any of that has to do with soatome? If she wants to die why doesnt she? Its suicide and she admitted to it, and its live infront of students so everyone knows she didnt deliberately murder her.
well if u watch someone dies, knowing you can do something to make it not happen, then it's normal to try to do things in your power to help right? after all, not doing anything is basically the same as killing in this case (at least that's what would the helper would think)
Am I supposed to care that the poison expert poisoned herself? If she dies that's on her, not Saotome. Saotome has absolutely no moral imperative to help someone who is stupid and desperate enough to poison themselves for a measly win. If you can't win by your own guile or ability, you don't deserve to be the head of your family, that's it.
