The novel always hints at her not being the brightest. This doesn't mean shes stupid or smth, shes quite perceptive. She grew up really sheltered in the pei household so not really much experience with other matters. People did stuff for her. It's cool that she's not dense or whiney, just nonchalant and cold.
Like, the manhua want to us to think she's a smart woman but she actually isn't that smart. Sorry but that's how i feel.
