As much as I love the smut and the story being really intriguing, Chap 3.5 changed my perspective of Apollo. I thought he was just a regular straight having a hard time with sexual intimacy with the same sex, but finding your wife in bed with another guy? Oof. That would put me off touching another human being for a long long time.
Not only that, but the crazy woman refuses to let go of the marriage? Clearly being monogamous is not for you. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Sure there are poly-marriages that make it work, but in Apollo's case it was to be a monogamous marriage.
And she protecting the guy by blackmailing Apollo? Another low blow man. Really don't get the thought processes in people's head.
For those who might that I'm overreacting to a fictional story, well, it's a weird confession but I spend a lot of time surfing reddit... and honestly... some of the divorce stories sound quite similar to Apollo's situation.
