Fellow novel readers, help

I'm probably due for a reread (i'm waiting for ruby-sama to finish the extras and do it then) BUT

Is it just me or does Lucia seem different from her novel self...? Like my memory of the novel is hazy but I've always pictured her having a more gentle/mature air..? not the happy go lucky one in the comic?

Kinda hard to word it... but she seems different from the way I remember her personality being...

I'm glad that it's not just me noticing this, because I feel like I'm going crazy lol.
She doesn't seem to have that air of keeping everyone away? reticent? UGH WORDS.

It feels really jarring since we know what she went through but it feels like it doesn't translate in the comic. She honestly doesn't have the feeling of 'Independence' that Hugo noticed in the novel or her having lived a long life but just another cliche FL in the genre.

(Even though it seems like I'm complaining, I'm still happy that it got a webtoon)

    I can't wait for ruby to translate s.s. 3 part 6 (⌒▽⌒)

I feel that way too. In the novel, the way she spoke and handled and observed other was laced with maturity due to her dream-life. But in the webtoon she kinda seems like an airhead.
