I felt that too but maybe its the subtle hints like him forgetting the purpose of inviting MC out in their museum date because he actually enjoyed time with him or looking forward to MCs text when he sent the photos?
I dunno. Maybe im overthinking things but its the only way I can rationalize the girl asking why he asked her out and him saying that he did something bad to the girl when he realized he liked the MC. Also I remember that before he was reintroduced to the MC as the girls boyfriend, there was a mention of how the girl kept talking abt him.
So MC and Blonde guy gf are siblings. MC met blonde guy first and maybe blonde guy unknowingly fell in love at first sight with MC at the convenience store? (Probably because heard the Ice Ice baby song haha)
Then blonde guy through some means learn that his GF now is related to MC so he asked her out (probably?) But anyway, Blonde guy is really just in love with MC all along. Also, blobde guy is a sis con (?). AndBlonde guy Gf knows blonde guy likes MC so she helps him out as shown in the 1st chapter
