It's the king's son. In the original story, the prince was killed by the count due to revenge.

It’s the king/Noah’s brothers son. The count was mocked by the king due to his failure. He was so angry he wanted his death he knew he couldn’t kill the king because he’s the king, so it’s easier to kill his child who only has a Knight and a nanny protecting it. And killing the kings only child would be more satisfying as it would devastate the king.

Son of King Siathrich, the first prince of the Kingdom, the one that concubine Soroso asked a dark sorceress to help with the birth, then just killed the sorceress. (Raeliana found out when she went back home.)

I'm kinda pissed that Soroso is the mom. If it followed the original story, that would have been karma for her.
