There is no defined plot because you are seeing the life of a couple since childhood. Have you not read any stories like that? Or fictionally stories about people growing up facing things hurdles of their own, going through eventful and simple ordinary days.
No. Do not ever use these sort of things as examples again. Even those types of stories have better developments than this.
