I was kinda pissed that they forcefully convinced Norman to stop his plan. I want Norman to pursue his original plan. I do feel bad for those innocent monsters, however they are still monster, they still eat human meat.

Well, dont mind me.

Everyone has its own opinion, but this situation reminds me of Tokyo Ghoul and other mangas where protagonists are monsters not accepted by society. I think you can't draw a line between what's a monster and what's not in general. You are always monsters to someone else. For example we eat animals, we are their monsters. But coming back to Norman, in my opinion his plan was too biased. He only wanted to see and follow one option. "they killed my friends so I'll kill them". That is revenge. Emma and Ray's plan on the other hand was more logical. It was based on the concept of converting human-eaters to not-human-eaters. If the only problem they have with demons is the fact that they eat meat, then you just need to change that aspect, you don't have to massacre them all

Humans also eat animal meat, are they also monsters that deserve to die?

Exactly what I was gonna comment too... it's all about perspective, really.

What I don't like about this manga is that no demon tries to get Sonja and musica's blood because they don't want to kill humans. Demons do terrible things to humans, and than Emma just wants to save everyone when she actually doesn't have the power to do so. If this was a bit more realistic, Emma would have died several times by now because of the unnecessary optimism she has towards a dystopian world. It just annoys me at this point.

But the real question is: do common demons know about Musica and Sonja? We know that royals know, but royals aren't the whole population. Even if they knew they could think of it as a legend. Or they could know but no one has ever educated them to think of human as something different from food. There are too many options to take in count.
However you are right when you say that this manga isn't realistic, as every shonen manga. Protagonists are always bright, maybe too bright for the situations they encounter. But unfortunately it doesn't matter how dark this manga is, it still remains a shonen manga. So it can't be realistic by definition

Maybe the problem is that the manga is too dark to be a shounen manga. In other shounen manga, the characters being too optimistic didn't bother me because the situations they faced weren't as dark as this one. There was still a possibility of success. Also, even in shounen manga, you can't save everyone. Main and side characters die in shounen manga as well. I guess what I expected from this manga was a little bit of character development for Emma. I wanted her to see that it is not possible to save everyone in those kind of situations. I wanted her to see that it is not true to act by your instincts and emotions only.

Also, you may be right that common demons don't know of Sonju and Musica. Now that I think about it, ı kind of agree with the thought of demons just trying to survive. Demons take the nature of the thing they eat, so they are probably just like humans and have human emotions right now. But they still don't know about empathy for a being that speaks the same language as you. If animals could talk and beg for their lives, I wonder how many of us would actually kill them.

But isn't it natural for humans to want to kill a creature that wants to eat them? Wouldn't the animals we kill& eat kill us if they had the chance to?
