Bahahah it's simply because this webtoon's main genres is shounen, action and fantasy i guess? Besides, if there's no equality the author won't bother with girls being hunters too. That ratio of 1 in 10 is actually normal and realistic. Take this as an example, you don't see muscular woman everywhere but if it's a man you don't really need to try hard to find 1. Don't worry, i know how you feel about this ratio. You're not oversensitive really. As a compensation, Haein is made as an exceptionally amazing S ranker even in between the S rankers (excluding our gawd Jinwoo) (=・ω・=)
Just pick any isekai manga and you'll see one lone dude among the female adventures.
But that's about public discrimination. If a guy is muscular, that guy gains a lot from that. But if a girl gets a ripped (heck yeah) muscular body, everyone will be looks her like a she has a rare disease, am i wrong? Even female sporters try to get thinnier, to look normal, thats why they are not looking huge. And because of diet, they lose muscles.
Even in the first chapters, only girl was a weakling healer (That C ranked one). She decided to give up. Who come up with the idea that woman has to be in healer role and needs to be protected? (I gotta stop :D)
But still i think the way you look is true, this is a shounen and author has right to write as he please. Hmm Haein, we will wait and see, I hope she is like you say :)

There is not so much woman in S rankers. Even fantasy world gives less role to woman. I love story but i still feel bad. Look at latest chapter, between 4 S ranks there is only one girl. :/ Does that makes sense for you all?
