The entire idea of mpreg was because Hosik died in their previous life while the seme was away on an expedition...this was written after a looooooong number of chapters regarding the lovey-dovey couple from present, but this was essentially their backstory...both were reincarnated and were brought together because of a terrible tragedy that struck and separated them permanently.
