I also thought about this. That at the end, the one left might be the real one, but by killing the doubles that represented his character traits the real one would just become an empty shell. Because I honestly cannot picture a normal, happy ending.
Wouldn't it be sick if doyoung ends up picking one, inevitably killing all the others, and when they get out the hyunjin he choose is a fucking monotone mannequin devoid of all the little sides and perks doyoung killed in the hotel. It would e a nice extreme way to interpet ''they all choose the version they like most, not necessarily the real one''
