I dont know if you missed it or if youre stupid but the white haired bitch herself said she faked the pregnancy. And she went to the centre and faked the scene. This is kinda common in chinese manga. But I guess idiots cant tell
And mc is trying to move on so I hope you learn to understand drama if not then dont reas chinese drama.
I would appreciated it, if you had the vocabulary to swear at me.
For example : ‘you slow witted twat!’ Or something like that.
1) you don’t seem to understand. The antagonist has claimed that she has a child, even if it’s a lie, the MC has no knowledge of that, therefore giving her no right to harm a ‘pregnant woman’. Imagine kicking an old man on a wheelchair. How would you know he is a scammer, before even finding out?
It would be the same as killing a man and then claiming, that he is faking his death.
And I grew up reading Chinese novels. From classical romance to martial-arts classical dramas and now to wuxia, xianxia/xuanhuan.
I’m Vietnamese, and so Chinese movies have been with me since childhood. And by the way, I recommend the 1986’s series of the ‘Journey to the west’, if you know that series then you are a true lover of Chinese fantasy/fiction and traditional and romance literature/drama/series.
Chinese dramas are complex works of art and full of emotions. This thing is full of nonsense and has no right to be called a Chinese drama. And I didn’t call or say that it was bad before, I only stated facts till you forced me to say that it’s actually not so great. If you found those facts disapproving, it only shows that you didn’t like the webcomic and are only lying to yourself.
I like the fact that even when you're upset your statements come from a place of knowledge. I've found that a lot of times when someone starts making exceptions to their standards their lines blur. That often happens with bad manga. You start to think that it's at least better than the last bad one you read and so it can't be that bad instead of saying that it is bad or is trying to be better than it is. It's not an issue of translation, even though that does change the tone and readability but this story is all over the place, it's like full panels and scenes have been removed and we have a photo album of events that reference memories we don't even have.
I think 90% of all chinese manga I've read here is trash. Chinese drama is shit. I wasn't defending the manga. Just the mc in that specific situation. But no chinese drama is also not a work of art. Literally all romance in chinese manga is toxic abusive and females are portrayed as foxy evil little bitches and males as powerful but complete assholes that in some cases say they love a female. Misunderstand that they are cheating and oh now they just want to kill her
There is this thing called censorship in China, that is truly hard to pass, if you intend to publish your works in China. The good novel that were meant to become dramas, movies, manhua or even just drama CDs have to go thru with it and usually end up reshaped to something entirely else.
That is why, up until now not many artists/creators have made works that truly represented them, since there was no freedom in expressing oneself.
Some of the animation studios have been more courageous as of lately, but they are still far behind the other studios in other countries like Japan, USA, etc.
One example could be Mo Dao Zu Shi by author Liang Sha that has been animated, but still changed slightly due to censorship. The main characters Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were supposed to be an official couple (BL) and even adopted a child, but in the donghua/anime they became sworn brothers. But this is already an amazing step forward.
The reason you say that Chinese works are trash is because you have only come across amateur works or ones that have already been “fixed” due to censorship or works that were created just to make money without actual art and creativity as the goal.
If you want the good works, try reading novels that were either privately published by the authors or novels that still retained a piece of the author within them.
And I’m truly sorry for my long rant. Low chance that you will actually read it lol.
Thank you for your input. I do realize that there are often censorship issues, like how in the US when Sailor Moon first came out as an anime they changed the relationship between Neptune and Uranus and never released Sailor Moon Stars because it had male characters that transformed into females. I also love a lot of the literature and manga based of off the classics. Journey to the West that you mentioned earlier is one of my favorite classics and so I often enjoy the different representations I find that give homage to them with their own twists.
I wish more people would use these spaces to lift up everyone's knowledge like you do. You try not to disparage but you give the information that some people might not know and give them a means to form their own opinions and broaden their horizons if they so choose.
Thank you, I look forward to any responses, no matter the length.
Oh my god (● ˃ロ˂)੭⁾⁾ you are a true person of culture! Not many people actually care about the stories behind the works and even fewer people know of the classics, so I’m super happy to know that there’s someone else who shares same interest as me.
But too bad @Naruto wouldn’t take interest in what I have recommended no matter what lol.
And thanks for sharing your opinion ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
It seems like @Naruto is judging based on manga specifically, when that is the parameter for the judgement then it is understandable... But I find that like you, it is better to use a wider test pool to judge, not just one format, but multiple.
I actually respect the response @Naruto gave to one of my comments, sometimes we get tunnel vision when trying to make a point and ignore the other aspects while focusing on one specific thing.
Either way I really enjoy discussing things with people who use their words and not hateful accusations or verbal attacks. Talking to someone who doesn't share your opinion is often the best way to learn more about subjects you wouldn't think about on your own. When I read or watch stories that have a military aspect I bring in my view as a person who not only served in the military but in a war. Any time you read something that supposedly involves an area you have insight into you will notice things that others wouldn't.
Now I'm the one giving really long responses(▰˘◡˘▰)

The society does not allow people to speak their mind, but I will still say it.
1) MC gets mad and throws a CUP that smashed at a person. Worst case scenario, they could have lost their sight or if the impact was too strong it could have lead to skull damage. Fortunately she only received external injuries???
2) you get a new man, but still go to BARS where you have fun and cause problem. Then the second time you get drunk because you are sad, but that is no excuse. At least get drunk somewhere else, not a DANCE CLUB!
3) holding a grunge is fine, but if you want revenge, don’t use violence, since you will end up as the one in the wrong. There are so many ways to get back at them. But I don’t think the MC has the ability to do that, despite the manga depicting her as a smart person.
4) why get mad at someone protecting their family? Even if their daughter is a scum, a parent will still protect their children, they apologised so why did you hurt their child MC?
