Is he really a whore for sexing the guy he likes while being treated well? Yeah I know, the contract basically states he belongs to lee for 2 years, that gives him plenty of time to try to win him over as a true 'lover'. Anyway, you should really check out what the author says about the story....

I doubt this will end in tragedy just because I've read the author's previous work. Bad things might happen but things always work out for the MC, but maybe in the most fucked up way possible.
This comments section is so funny because it keeps wanting to have the story be something it’s not. The story is clearly headed for tragedy. These characters are all self-aware of their lots in life and their lifestyles have made them all morally ambiguous to the point that the protagonist thinks maybe living as a pampered whore is better than living as in poverty. It’s honestly such a fascinating series to read, because it’s such a realistic take on the choices people would actually make.
