Sounds very likely too. I bet it might be Yoon's POV first, the end of this chapter would indicate that.
He's so pissed lol. Of course it's because of the ongoing power struggle, maintaining control and keeping the Painter to himself, but he's also like an addict now. I think his veins boiled to the extreme when he saw that the teacher is gone too, he hates his guts.
Considering the build up from previous chapters (hunting, In Hun talking to servant, Nakyum's growing hate towards Yoon), things are about to get very interesting. I need more. I can't wait another week....

My opinion on what happened. I think the teacher did overhear them.
The author likes to do time skips a lot to tell the story. So very likely the next chapter will just feature Yoon trying to find where they disappeared. I don't think the author will reveal how they escaped in the next chapter or at least wait to hint at it for the very end. She'll want to keep the suspense up as much as possible.
Chase scenes in stories are very exciting for readers. You can either focus from the POV of the one being pursued or from the one doing the pursuing and then sometimes gradually start to show both as they get closer. Most likely the author will show from Yoon's POV first to keep the mystery of how the Painter and Teacher vanished. That'll reader leave readers hooked and thirsty for more.
We will see Yoon's frustration and anger at trying to figure out how they did it and where they went. Mostly he'll want to find the Painter.
The author might keep that up for 1-2 chapters, maybe even 3, before shifting back to the Painter's POV and showing in flashbacks how he got away. I expect a lot of exciting twists and turns in the future as Yoon hunts for them. I also expect redhead to get involved in the chase as a way to take the Painter hostage to punish Yoon.
Just my theory.
