I agree. Only come out if you are safe to do so. If your life or home are threatened by coming out, wait until they are not.

For you guys that think that the uke is being overdramatic and should just "come out" etc. No one of you understands the feeling of being rejected just cause you were born "different". Yes its sad that he hurts the person he loves in the process, but it's not like our seme doesn't know his situation? He choose to be with him knowing this mig happen. Even ukes sister told him. As a gay guy myself I can totally relate to our MC. I haven't told my parents yet. I could lose it all if I did. The author is trying to be more realistic, its not always sunshine and butterflies.
