The deceased father adopted a boy that he called his son but in reality raised as a sex slave. The real son fell in love at first sight with the boy, but then once witnessed him together with his father and, instead of rescuing him, turned away from the sight. (He later dreamed that he ran away with him at that time, but he knows he didn't save him in reality.) The real son later left the estate for good, leaving the other boy behind to further psychological damage by the father – whom he eventually strangled to death. By that point the boy's mind was pretty much gone, which is why he was just sitting there unmoving when the son came by later on. Since the attraction between them when they first saw each other was actually mutual, when the son holds him and speaks to him gently and then kisses him, the boy slowly starts to move again to embrace him back.
