I wouldn't say he's selfish. I understand where he is coming from. Ibelina was the first person to show him kindness and he grew to love her. She also promised not to ever leave him. And it makes me so mad that she left without saying anything cuz it's basically saying he's not even worth saying goodbye to. Even if it would be hard to say goodbye STILL say it!!!
For her to leave like that is really shitty. He must have felt so betrayed/heartbroken. Imagine your bestfriend just leave without any explanation. Of course, you would try to find them.

His love is quite selfish, he chose to ignore the fact that he's causing Ibelina to be misunderstood and anger between maids. Him telling them off doesn't help her case either cause he does not know what goes on behind. I get it Ibee was the one who was there for him, but she must been completely uncomfortable with the way her coworkers were treating her. But, Alejandro just come and do whatever he wants not minding their location which really doesn't help her. But then again he's only 15, that's the age when you love recklessly.
