I also forgot to add in my previous reply that Kaede probably looks that way 'cause he's a rabbit. Most of them were pretty small in stature and I can't imagine they would look any bigger compared to wolves lol He's also still pretty young but I figured he was at least the age of consent. If this was also set back in older times it would make sense for them to marry younger as well.
