Nah its okay. I can't explain it well because english is not my first language and this topic is difficult and complex. Of course survival is the most important thing but living a life where I'm not happy (aka in this case, where I need to leave the person I love and marry a random person) is shit as well. We have different views so It's okay. In my opinion, living a life without freedom is not worth living. Many things are imporant for me but without my freedom and pride I'm nothing. I don't know If I would give up these things for my survival but as long as there is a possibility of living a life with freedom and freedom of speech, I would take the chance. Honestly, I think I would take the risk of paying with my life for my escape to freedom. Who knows...It's only my opinion tho.

For me... If I found someone I really love like... love them so much that I could die for them, I wouldn't leave them either for something else because I want to live a happy life. Without them I can't and, you see, everyone only lives once.
But I understand the view of others, like the manga characters. They were indepted to the family of the woman he should marry and they had influence - he couldn't just turn them down, especially because it could have affected his future and the people close to him for a long time, too. Still, the mother shouldn't have married him off. After all, marriages last an eternity.
