I too, didn't understand but I think she described it as an unknown substance that ignited the oil lamp to cause fire
And second that if the fire started from the wall the crates should be burnt where the wall is faced but instead the burn was seen in front along with the violins
For the pillar that fell, it was supposed to fall down where the fire started because the wood we'll be damage and fall to the direction of the fire

I just read the latest chapter and I’m kinda confused. Can someone plz explain it to me T^T . When the maid first started explaining wat the cause of the fire was did she not say that it was most likely a cause of arson? Which caused the others to think that it was the cause of the western empire but then later on in the end she was like it was the cause of a accident caused by someone of high status? Did she figure out clues as she was stating it or something cause if it is they surely did not show it. I just find it weird cause it seemed to contradict with wat she said before
