I agree, there's no heart to heart
humane moments that really give you tension between the characters's feelings or development, that makes you sympathize, empathize and forgive. A shounen Ai manga that is really good at showing that (although slowly), is "A path to you" and it does not have nearly as much action or a complicated plot as this manga, and it nowhere near as fast paced, but the characters are developed so well and it feels so in touch with humanity and REAL character progression that i'd choose that over this underdeveloped and half assed relationship and plot. "a path to you" isn't as innovative or original, but at least I can feel for and with the characters.
After binging this expecting an interesting action love story, instead I ended with a precious 100/10 Lu Lang zombie who deserves the world!!! And a scumbag who treated him like crap from the start, caused drama at school on purpose to make Lu lang snap on purpose, physically abused him, mentally manipulated him and then I'm supposed to cheer for them because he KINDA finally is getting the slightest amount of morals and sees him more as human, but even that is so little I genuinely would not mind him dying from that cliff fall right now ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ He's scum who after 48 chapters barely made improvement moral and personality wise. Lu Lang deserves better and the only happy ending I can see is Lu lang living abroad totally fine and with these assholes out of his reach or even better them dead ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
