She does know? And she can't go against the princess like she does the duke of course. The duke has no relation to her outside of their one night stand for one. For two, he had no idea who she is at the time. For three, Edith is the heroine and she's not going against the plot by treating her with care just as she isn't going against the plot by trying to get AWAY from Ares. For four, she already stated she tried to deviate from the second version of the novel and had no luck. Those bits and pieces people miss do seem to add up don't they?
the princess is such a bitch for no reason I hope our MC starts fighting back w/ her like she does with everyone else. She's going against the Duke for gods sake but takes the princesses sly comments with a smile on her face... I hope she figures out the princess little scheme with the earrings and f*cks her up or whatever.
