If I remember correctly (i read this months ago so might’ve been a mix-up) He took advantage of Hen when there was something wrong with his pheromones earlier in the story and I think I was wrong about Alek thing, they were just cousins or something and Ivan was good to Alek. About Hen and Ivan wasn't it more like the actual intercourse was as consensual as both of them being dead-drunk could make it be, but the continuation of the relashionship was due to Ivan inadvertedly marking Hen as his partner, making him unable to survive without snake pheromones?
I wouldn't really call him a rapist, they're both under the effects of pheromones, and if they didn't have sex Hen would get sicker. It's definitely dubious consent at times, but considering Hen didn't care and they're now dating i'd class it as consensual.
i dont really agree, alek wasnt controlled by the phermones he got up and was talking to ivan like nothing. if he had good intentions he would have insisted that hen call the person that gave him the imprint. he didnt need to take advantage of him.
