I feel like Stockholm syndrome and the sex will be a key factor. People that have been held captive tend to adapt without meaning to. And if it feels good mentality plays a part in the sexual aspect of it. And if he gets even a tad nicer that will also play a part. Since a person that was always mean suddenly starts caring for some reason that suddenly makes whatever hes been though ok. Those will be the types of thoughts I think he will have. Whether it will benefit him or not. Idk. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

After this chapter, I am not sure how this relationship can be turned around. I haven't given up hope, but the selfishness and cruelty was a little too over the top for me this chapter.
