This is just a guess based on what we know about Anastasius so far, but I think that more than anything, he thinks of Jennette as his pawn. Or at least that's what he thought of her originally. He went out of his way to create her using dark magic, and I can't see any reason why he'd do that if it wasn't to fulfil some dark purpose. By the looks of things now though, maybe a part of him is starting to care more about her after seeing her isolated and trying to desperately to fit in with Athy and Claude.

I was just wondering. Does the evil hateful disgusting older brother of Claude consider Jennette as his daughter? I mean does he love her? Or at least doesn’t want to kill her? Or is she only a useful pawn?
