The wolf was targeted when he was a child so he ran away. I think that’s a good reason to leave without notice.
And then he came back to accomplish his destiny aka killing the vampire.
Idk why you don’t trust him but so far we didn’t see any reason for him to fake feelings for Gabriel.
Idk, I don't ship gabriel with anyone. I hope gabriel can be free from those two, I don't trust the wolf and vampire guy, something feels off with the wolf guy. And the vampire guy is just too confusing
