I really like that this is a slow development, because it shows how deep these connections run in fact. It's hard to let go of the person you grew to trust and admire, even when it's clear that they hurt you. You rationalise it and blame yourself, that you deserve the treatment because you did wrong. I can't wait to see Nakyum free himself from this toxic relationship, I hope he will.
