Okay this chapter is adorable, but I've been trying to think on why I don't want this to be a "Gods and Goddess" sub plot AND I THINK I KNOW WHY but who knows if I'll be able to articulate it well. The Gods said that they created Del, and then they insinuated that they also created Rin especially fore Del, and that's the part I have a problem with.
At first glance them being "made for each other" sounds amazingly romantic, but then you start thinking deeply and suddenly it's unsettling. Is their love real if they were made for each other? Is their relationship authentic? Is how they even met (which was a group of long coincidences and awkward decisions thrown together in an unlikely bid of fate) all predetermined by some higher power? Do they really make any decision by themselves or are they just puppets for fate and the Gods?
I know I'm getting too deep into this thought for what is essentially just a really cute story, however I couldn't help but thinking this since they first stated that the gods themselves made Del.
Either way I'm sitting back to enjoy the ride of these two being cute and I'm hoping my dramatic ass is making a big deal out of nothing and that the author doesn't go to the darker side of this ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I understand what your saying. But what if Rinrin's soul is in the wrong body? Somehow giving her free will; throwing everything out of bounds and loosing the "gods/goddess" grip on Del? That's my theory.
