No. That’s just cause you haven’t looked hard enough to find the best manhuas.

There are a bunch of gems hidden in manhuas. The ones I’ve seen mainly are historical themed and sometimes contain magical elements, the modern rich guy stories are the ones that are mainly no good. There’s also vampire sphere (highly suggested), and another which I forgot the name of (the story is like this: female lead plays a game and actually goes into it and goes into a world that’s magical and contains kings etc. I think the male lead was called Arthur? Their was real great character development with the female lead).

Imma add this just in case anyone thinks I'm trying to bash all manhuas or smth. I admit that I've only read a handful of them and most of the time just quickly skimmed through because I find them bad. I primarily read mangas and have recently started reading manhwas and like with all things there are bad ones and good ones.

The thing that's strikes me the most is that honestly, all manhuas I've seen look really bad. With the Jap/Kor stuff, I find there are more good/decent ones than bad (in my subjective opinion of course). I'm sure there are gems amongst the duds though, so would appreciate any recs!

I just found out recently that a really good manga I was reading was actually a manhua. It's retired heroes. No romance drama or shit like that. Recommend it for family fluff.
