I think it's more like he's the type who flirts with no strings attached: without thoughts about feelings, focusing on sexually charged interactions. Not inherently wrong, but he should be aware that YiYoung is different from him, and more than that, his work partner. He shouldn't be flirting with him if he only wants a hookup. Look for someone else - someone who won't catch feelings, like you won't.
I get that, there's some things he seems aware of, but I just feel like his own feelings is not one of them. There just seems like more to his actions at this stage than being flirty for flirtiness' sake. But he himself doesn't seem to comprehend that, he just thinks it's how he behaves normally.
I disagree. I think he has been planning and premeditating all of his actions with Yiyoung since they hooked up. I think he likes him.. Perhaps not thinking about a future with him yet, but def. wants him again... it's perhaps because he has painted himself into a corner when he made such a strong statement that it was a one time thing that he doesn't know how to get out of it, and his pride is hoping Yiyoung will make the first move.
Maybe that's it, I didn't stop to think about it like that. That could be true. It's frustrating though. But makes for an interesting story.
So, what's the deal? Is the director just flat out oblivious to what love is as a concept? That's kind of the vibe I'm getting from him. He seems like he's never developed actual feeling for another person and so doesn't recognize when he's fallen in love with someone. He doesn't register as being flat out malicious in his actions. (I say this having finished season 1)
