I think in the medicine that he takes , they add something that will make him turn on n relax during sex .( Because he gets wounded easily)
I was thinking it was a mix of Stockholm Syndrome and his body reacting so it wouldn't get hurt you any more then it had originally had been from getting raped or harassed
