I know it looks bad right now but in the novel

She actually goes to like Sarah and tries to be genuine and doesn't screw with them. She is just using them to get back at her step-sister.
I don't like her thoughts towards her teacher. Get your revenge on those who did you dirty. The teacher was nice to her when she nasty and she's still nice.
