so it's a part of the omegaverse genre, where omegas have heats and conceive children (generally they're considered the lowest class, but not every universe is like that), betas are normal humans, and alphas are often superior in class and stuff (tend to be very successful/rich); depending on the manga sometimes alphas can also have ruts which is similar to an omega's heat
