Uhm, it could be the case in a common manga but this is omegaverse which means that there is more genres than “male” or “female”. Here one who ended being a bottom was also an alpha so for him being with another alpha was troublesome even though they like each other (the alphas are paired with omegas most of the time) I would like to explain more but I’m guessing that you already know how this universe works...
Yeah i forgot this 'couse the couple dont seem give much care about, or me who didn't notice that much, but I think this point has relevance too, but because in this specific manga the alphas are able to get pregnant (which, at least for me, reduces the differences between the "genders"), i think it's both ╮(￣▽￣)╭
