Yeah, I was thinking that too. It made feel so sad for Ban!! What if he had to watch him die like that?? And what happened after?? What if Ban tried to use the insense too?? Gosh, so many possibilities and all make me feel super sad.
I can't help but think that what if how he traveled back in time, he actually traveled into different realities. Where Ban would die & II would jump off a building 'to go back in time' and that body of his in that reality actually died from the jumps. the tokyo tower scene was so sad, idk why I think like this . it just makes me sadder
