Gena Showalter isn't a proper harlequin writer, her stories don't fit the harlequin standard , I mean she has sagas and a lot of long erotic romance novels like this one (lord's of the underworld), paranormal, Fantasy, contemporary, and young adult.
Huh. Who knew that these Harlequin josei one-shots could actually be interesting and fun to read when the female lead has a personality and motivations that don't solely revolve around the male lead? Who would have thought?
