Did you read the comments? People hate this because it’s not realistic, the characters are all over the place, the storyline is messy. Honestly there’s so much to say...
« She still doesn’t trust him » that’s just an excuse the author gives to cover up the huge plot hole this story gives. The emperor kills dozens of INNOCENT people doing their JOB protecting HER and Her heart flutters because he’s good looking? None of it makes sense. I might have seriously enjoyed this series when I was 12 but there is just too much to overlook :/
By the way, just because I personally find the storytelling bad doesn’t mean You should feel bad or feel the need to defend yourself for liking it! In the end of the day it’s a manhwa like an other, some will like it some won’t. If the author wants to improve I suggest she takes account of the critics given but that is in no way a discouragement for them to stop writing/you to stop reading.

I kinda agree on the whole emperor thing and I DO think it’s a bit stupid, but I’m just saying the character herself is very realistic the plot may be shit, but I honestly think I should wait for the story to progress a little bit more and maybe we might see a bit of character development so I don’t want to judge too fast. But I do think that the emperor thing is going WAY too fast and she shouldn’t get her heart thumping this early on in the story because that contradicts the whole character the author is trying to portray so I do agree with you on that one.

To be honest I don’t understand why everyone is hating on this story, because it’s not ideal? I’m sorry I love this story because it’s REALISTIC, you can’t expect her to straight away do everything right she still needs time to adjust and she is acting like a normal human in a situation like this if not better. I believe Hilde’s actions are very logical and well thought out,
as for everyone complaining about her liking the emperor she still doesn’t trust him , and the reason she does this is because she has a responsibility of protecting her nation that is why she has to try to like him. Besides you can’t deny that you can see him changing so maybe wait a bit to see the character development then you can judge but it’s still pretty early on in the story
But maybe you should view this from HER point of view , and from HER world instead of a 21st century earth mindset.
In the end it’s your own opinion so I don’t want to hate on you, your free to express your own opinion and I won’t stop you from that
