Well since i'm part of the group, i'm gonna admit that we do have a lot of projects lol but the hardest thing about running a scan group is that, you gotta remember people are just doing it during their free time. So when real life hits you, we lose staff and have to find new ones to complete the projects. I usually don't even bother replying to comments on mangago but you are wrong about the drama. We have our own reader site so we don't care if other groups are working on the same projects or get google translated and posted by others here. We will continue to work on all of the projects we want to work on whether it is full scanlated or not. If you find our projects on mangago, it is because they automatically rip the chapters from our online reader site.

Okay yes--im wrong about the sniping drama though that's less about rose squad scans and more about translation groups in general. But other groups experience losing members as well but still manage to post chapters in a timely manner? Why's that? Because they have less stuff to work on. What about 2 person groups, though there are those who post with horrible grammar and editing, there are those as well that have grade A editing and translation skills but still manage to post in weeks or in a monthly manner.
The thing with rose squad is that they have a lot of things to work on meaning their works compete together and translators have to juggle their work. Why bother picking up new stuff if it's only gonna slow you down even more. From the credits page of this webtoon, there's a lot of you working to translate, clean, edit, etc. on this but how many of these people from the credit page is actually working on this one thing? I bet many of them are working on multiple other things as well. Seriously, the only reason I can come up with as to why so many of the BLs you've picked up only updates within 4-6 month time frame is this. If not, and it's due to very serious personal reasons then I'm sorry for being an ass but if not then why.
This complaint however doesn't only apply to Rose Squad scans btw, oh no, I've noticed other groups who horde as well, BL and non-BL groups but I can't remember their names so rip. Anyways--the main I've written this is because I've noticed this pattern from multiple big groups. The update for this webtoon today just made the me finally "snap"..in a sense, I guess.

Also to those calling m3 ungrateful despite unpaid work, I'm not even gonna bother with you all because my complaint isn't even about slow translations but about groups hording. Slow translations are understandable but hording multiple mangas is just selfish in general. That just leads to sniping drama between huge groups and smaller groups. Even if the drama is not between them, then it's the "fans" who instigate sniping drama.
Of course it's rose squad scans translating this. No wonder it's so slow, they horde and try to translate every BL out there all at once. This group constantly tries to recruit people into their group. But even when they do, they add more BL to their translation roster, adding more to their endless work.
I used to like this group, but a few months ago, I've noticed their group name a lot in many BLs which made me realize my above thoughts.
Honestly, I could be wrong but I can't help but get this feeling and end up feeling salty instead because I've got a lot of favourite BLs being translated by this group and it sucks having to wait for a chapter to come out in like--within 2-4 months time frame. I get 1 or 2 months but for this huge ass group???? It only makes sense if they got a whole bunch of other things to work on. Which sucks cuz I hate groups that hordes. It could easily make other groups think that a BL that hasnt been updated in a long time has been dropped so they pick it up but then they get accused of sniping. And sniping drama can be pop corn worthy but its not for the smaller groups who get bullied into submission.
God I've written an essay, happens all the time at 5 am but at least I've vented??? Take this seriously or not, just my opinion. Disagree, agree, idrc, it's just what I've been holding in for a long time now and my sleepiness is just allowing me to let lose.
