I'm just trying to find something to read while I'm waiting for solo leveling, but no one seems to know whats going on in this story. Would you consider it just a harder read? like one you seriously have to pay attention to each panel and everything that's said or it won't make sense, or is it just seriously so confusing that it isn't worth reading? is it worth my time?
Hmm if you're reading solo leveling atm, u won't find this good. Heck, ive read SL many months ago and i couldnt move on at first and i was having a hard time to read something else that will interest me ^^;
When i read this, i was able to finally move on from SL that time but i still didnt find this good. Idk the pacing is rly all over the pace and its just not rly exciting. Im not sure abt the novel ver tho

well after season one I admit it's hard to get over it... nothing really hits as hard as solo leveling does we can all be honest. ( I watched Rodgers Base re-read solo leveling just so I could see his reaction and feel like I was reading it for the first time again. I invested probably over 16 hours watching this man read solo leveling for the first time. No regrets.) and no! I haven't read the novel just because I want to find out through the manga, unless I get ahead of myself and read it impulsively (I often get REALLY close to reading the LN after finishing the 1st season every single time I re-read it). I've heard good things and honestly, I just hope it's worth the wait. When it's all out I plan on going back and reading it and seeing the differences.
but if this story even seems readable, I guess I'll give it a shot. I'm bored and craving anything, so I'll probably read it all the way through even if I don't like it. Today I read "Ranker Who Lives A Second Time" and "A Returner's Magic Should Be Special" and yesterday I read... "Berserk of Gluttony" and also "Gong Heon Ja" which were all similar to Solo Leveling and kept me relatively interested. If you haven't read any of those I recommend them to a bored soul, even if they don't compete with solo leveling.
I just hope this story isn't one I can't even understand. I hate those ones. I want to even understand what's going on, even if the story isn't good. If I don't understand, it's pointless. A good story can also be hard to understand, a little like "Tower of God". I had trouble reading it and had to really think while reading that story, but it is so GOOD.
Anyways sorry for writing so much. I'm delaying starting this. Maybe I'll get back to you once I developed an opinion on this story.

I stopped reading SL webtoon for now (around ch103) and will just patiently wait for more ch to read since i prefer reading many ch in one go lol tho i finished the novel alrdy so im not that in a hurry to read the webtoon anymore ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ and yesss its rly good!!
The time i caught up with latest ch of SL webtoon that time... i couldnt wait anymore (the cliffhanger was killing me) so i went and read lol btw if ever ur gonna read the novel, i suggest to read from the start! It has scenes that didnt happen in webtoon tho nothing major
Oh yeaa what help me to move on from SL was when i read/watched The King's Avatar (⌒▽⌒) i can't believe i even finished the novel that has 1728 chapters lololol
As for the titles u mentioned!!! I read 2 of them tho i dropped 2nd life ranker for now. When i first read it, it was the time i literally just finished SL so my expectations were quite high but i got bored on the first few ch of 2nd life ranker orz but!! A lot of ppl told me its rly good so i might give it a try again :) as for the other 2 (gluttony and heon ja) i hvnt read but theyre on my to read list (⌒▽⌒)

Alright, I thought I would reply because I'm STRUGGLING through this story. I am now at chapter... 270. It's rough. ALSO YES I LOVE RECOMMENDATIONS, I'll take any.
The overall idea was good. But the problems I have with this I have with a lot of stories and I find it is what Solo Leveling did SO WELL that other stories have problems with. They failed (in my opinion) to set a clear stage. In solo leveling they do that INCREDIBLY well. They set the world, the situation, and the conditions for hunters almost immediately. I'm glad they didn't make it a 'oh we went to another world' because it's unnecessary, just like this story. there (so far) is hardly any reason that he got this incredible pendant that helps him and shows no clear reason he has the abilities he does. Also, the leveling ability. maybe I'm just slow but they explained it... kinda? They set wishy washy boundaries for the world that end up causing problems because I, as the reader, don't know when something incredible is happening. In solo leveling, right in the beginning they make it clear his ability to 'level up' is quite literally one of a kind. BOOM. I'm in awe of the main character. I know the limits of the world. In this story? I thought it was uncommon for people to have 2 powers. then all of a sudden? He has 4? There's a 12 year old like incredible mage that literally served almost no purpose? why was she made so young?? WHAT WAS THE REASON.
Anyways. Now, I'm invested in the story but random people continue to show up and I'm not sure if it's like a translating mistake or I'm not actually seeing the entire story but it's frustrating. The main character makes me angry. The characters that hate him for no reason are overused. I no longer find him interesting? I see hardly no purpose or feelings behind his actions.

I tried reading until past ch30 but idk i cant get into it?? It seems all over the place, like the timing and the scenes, its so fast then suddenly it will be a diff scene?? Is the novel much better? Should i give that a try instead?
