What do you mean? Yes she said there is no use crying over spilt milk, and I would say she is totally correct! Now, does it make more sense for her to cry, or does it make more sense for her to take action and make sure this doesn’t happen again?! I understand what you’re saying, but really what she said wasn’t incorrect. She’s getting revenge for that child and all the others in the town.
I don’t think she was saying that in reference to the child. I took it to be in reference to her earlier thought that the people’s hearts were hardened because she was asleep for 20 years. She was blaming herself and dwelling on it, then thought no use crying over spilled milk.....it’s time to fix this. She’ll start by hopefully getting justice for that child and making sure this stuff won’t be tolerated anymore.
what i mean is get your and the author's point sure, i'm all for taking action asap but a little more emotion please? she just saw a child hanged? that lived a shitty life? I guess she's gonna get emotional when talking to those responsible but that's no natural flow... a lil sadness is to be expected y'know
