İt's true that they were lovers in the past. Sunbae was a noble (or wealty) and Hosik was a poor. They couldn't live their love. Sunbae married a noble beautiful girl but he was in love with Hosik, doesn't love girl.
I'm not sure that but i guess Sunbae and Hosik had sex and they had a boy.
Sunbae's wife learned this and took the baby from Hosik and killed Hosik. I'm not exactly sure but eventually died on Hosik sunbae's hands.
I'm not sure if Sunbae remembers the past. Maybe he just feels that he has a bond with Hosik.

Sunbae and hyusik are lovers from their past life... Idk if its true. But thats why sunbae is possessive asf to hyusik because something happened bad to them i think.
