The problem was that the brother and sister had a bad omen together. They weren’t fated to be together. And then the crash happened, seemingly proving this point. The main characters believe that no matter what they do, if their siblings end up together, there will be some unfortunate accident that will occur. So they’re trying to separate them and protect that from ever happening.

Hmmmmm thinkin bout it, if they wanted to save their siblings lives, wouldn’t they just move the date of the wedding/delay it somehow? Aren’t they just trying to cancel it coz they have feelings for each other or smth
