I like her mother a lot. She's a frivulous woman (that's pretty according to the setting) but she's smart and kind of caring in her own way.
She is distant, but loves her daughter and that's a cool twist to your everyday story.
Same I feel like she’s the type that has the mindset of “I wasn’t meant to be and will not be a doting mother. But I can be your most valuable ally” and it’s refreshing af cause some people just aren’t meant to be mothers and that’s fine

After seeing alot of bitch moms and alot of stories with no moms at all.....it's nice to see a nonchalant beauty like aria's other who knows her daughter's wickedness.
