There is no elaborate backstory of the villain(Ain) in the novel she read, it is just stated that the villain(Ain) received harsh treatment in his childhood which twisted his character as well as how his mother cruelly treated him so he killed her. The novel isn't about how Ain become the villain so of course all the knows FL was what is stated in the novel.
Idk why she acts like that, she read the novel she should know about the family, i understand someone from our era would find it horrible to poison a child, but hey darker times over there! I am sure while she read the novel charcaters tried to kill the guy but he did not have any weakness so he was cool !
Plus idk how she can't think that the kid is crazy af already with that kind of father geez
