I agree with that. While acknowledging what he did in middle school was wrong he could have gone so many ways after the incident. He could have become a bad person who resorted to even further bullying or he could have become a homophobic person. But instead he chose the path that saved someone else. He redeemed himself. I was so happy with the way he spoke to nobu and apologised. Guilt can be such a scary thing
Tbh I lobe this manga so much. It’s a really good portrayal of what actually happens in real life but the only thing I don’t really like is how they all blamed Hayato. Like my poor baby was only in middle school and thought he was straight but then his best friend says he likes him. I’m not saying that what Hayato did was not wrong, but he was young and confused and did not know what to do. So it makes sense that he did that. But anyway, Hayato was just trying to become a better person and I love that so he does not deserve all the hate he got
