from what I seen she did everything cause she wants a better life for him, sure you can say she is wrong bla bla but every mother wants what best for her son, and yeas she is not the best mother ever but I do think she does love him in her own way.

The king thought of the kingdom while selecting his heir. Even sacrificed his relationship with one of his sons to make sure the right heir was selected. How is he selfish? Meanwhile the Queen killed a child for greed and power. Not comparable at all. And if the prince support that he will never be the king his father is.
