I don't imagine they were replying to the "if it changes I'd love for you guys to tell me" part of your topic so much as the "I dropped this because she doesn't like him" part. If you read their reply with those words in mind, them pointing out that they just met makes sense.
Tbh I dropped this manga because you can tell she does not like him romantically and the way she gives her blood it's not like she loves him and she's doing it to help you no I just don't like it if it gets better I would love for you to tell me (￣∇￣")
