what I want to happen more than anything is for Kaveri to tell Khaol that he's not happy and that Khaol fucked up with River. I then want Khaol to reflect and realize that 1) he needs to let Kaveri go and 2) maybe he actually liked River a little bit and was conflicted, but needs to own up for what he did and never approach River ever. I truly want him to to understand that he does not deserve River, and that River doesn't need or want him.
And of course, Heil and River get the happy ending they both truly deserve.
