Not saying these are good actions or cheating is good but like she doesn't go for cliche routes Cole has severe issues and I can actually relate to him, he should go to therapy and such and Alex has to set his priorities and find himself and just end this toxic relationship. It is clear both have no idea what they're doing and Alex only rejected that nick guy bc he was afraid of what Cole would do not bc of his devotion to Cole. Cole is also very confused and has no idea what he wants and someone like him should go through years of therapy to be able to enter a relationship. I think this story is more like what would happen if someone who is very unstable and someone who is confused were to get into a relationship.
