I'll try to summarize what they're talking about, but don't believe me 100% because I hate business talk as well
Basically Mr Kim asked the Uke why he chose to intern in the advertising dept., and the Uke answered because he thinks "it's a good opportunity."
The Uke got the internship because his friend the Girl is somekind of a graphic designer in the company. And she recommended the Uke, so the company took the Uke without formalities (only need her recommendation).
This is actually BAD, because the Uke is business management major. Advertising is a completely different field from business management or management in general. Advertising is closely tied related to the girl's job (graphic design).
So, the Uke basically spout out generic nonsense when he answered "it's a good opportunity". Because he is already 29, got masters in management, and ended up randomly in advertising not because he is truly interested, but because of his friend's recommendation.
This is why the boss looked angry.
